To support our learning about 'Marvellous Machines', Attenborough Class went to visit Drapers Windmill this week. We found out so much about how this amazing machine works and heard lots of new vocabulary. When we returned to school, we made models of the windmill and we used flour to make playdough and salt dough, recalling how it was made.

O’Keeffe Class explored how wheels turn using different construction tools to create vehicles for their DT project. The children have been learning about all the parts that a vehicle needs, such as a chassis, axle and wheels. Great work O'Keeffe Class! 🚗

This years' Anti-Bullying Week theme, 'Power for Good' has come about following consultation with teachers and pupils by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. Teachers and children wanted a theme that empowered them to do something positive to counter the harm and hurt that bullying causes. We will be using the Anti-Bullying Alliance resources in school this week to focus on how we can actively use our Power for Good, and what we can do to stop bullying. #AntiBullyingWeek #PowerForGood
