🪱 Turner Class has gone wild for worms! In science, our amazing students have been diving deep into the animal kingdom. To bring their learning to life, everyone in Turner Class was adopted by a very special 'pet worm'! Our young scientists have been busy: 🌿Building custom habitats tailored to exactly what worms need to thrive. 🪱Investigating worm diets to discover their favourite things to munch on. 📝Classifying creatures to figure out exactly which animal group worms belong to. We are so proud of their hard work, curiosity, and excellent caretaking skills. Future biologists in the making! 🌟

🥣 Turner Class is cooking up some maths magic! Last week, our fantastic students traded their notebooks for mixing bowls to put their measurement skills to the test. Their mission? Working together to make their very own playdough! The classroom was buzzing as the children practised: 📍Reading scales to measure out ingredients precisely. 📍Following multi-step recipes using grams, millilitres, and cups. Maths is always more fun when it's hands-on (and a little bit messy)! Fantastic teamwork and brilliant measuring skills, Turner Class! 🌟

Tutankhamun Class had a blast on the apparatus in the upper school hall today. 🤸♂️ They showed incredible focus, bravery, and teamwork as they tackled every single challenge; jumping, swinging, balancing, climbing and sometimes even flying through the air! We are so proud of their energy and determination today. Great work everyone! 🌟

Martin and Lolita visited Dame Janet yesterday to tell them all about the Summer Reading Challenge. The Challenge invites children aged 4 to 11 to take part and enjoy reading for fun and it’s completely free. This year’s theme, Read to the Beat, celebrates the joy of music and the power it has to move, inspire, and connect us – all through the magic of reading. Join at your local library * Head to your local library or mobile library to sign up. Children must have a library card to participate. * Speak to a member of the local library team. * Borrow a library book. * Collect a sticker booklet and get started! Plus, this year, Children will also get a free copy of the Storytime Magazine. We're looking forward to seeing children taking part and hearing about the books read. 📚
