Miss Stupples was very grateful to have lots of visitors during our ‘Share the Learning’ afternoon. Curie class created their own pin cushions, bookmarks or pencil cases. The adults help supporting the children with threading the needles and knotting the threads was much appreciated! Thank you. 🪡

What a busy day for the staff! 📝 We have enjoyed a joint TKAT East/Weald training day with Salmestone, Drapers, Northdown, Newlands, Pluckley and Smarden, hosted at Dame Janet. Staff have been working together to consider and learn more about: Early Years, adaptive teaching, SEND, science, writing, backwards fading and many more…

Our sign of the week is 'line up', a phrase we use often in school so it shouldn't take the children long to learn!

Last week, Tutankhamun created a re-enactment of the Vikings invading Britain. Some children in the class were chosen to be Anglo-Saxons and the others were Vikings. First, the children spent time designing their Viking or Anglo-Saxon shields. Then, they went out and performed their re-enactment.🛡️⚔️ Looks like everyone had great fun!
